Iranian Co-Chairman of the Iran-Oman Chamber of Commerce. Industries. Mines and Agriculture Mohsen Zarrabi called for launch of Chabahar-Muscat container shipping line.
He made the remarks in a meeting with members of Sistan and Baluchestan Chamber of Commerce on Saturday evening.
Launching container shipping line between Chabahar and Muscat is a national demand which is necessary for development of trade between Iran and Oman. the official added.
He said Sistan and Baluchestan Chamber of Commerce should pay especial attention to this issue.
There are passenger shipping lines between Chabahar and Muscat at the moment. Zarrabi noted.
He said Sistan and Baluchestan Chamber of Commerce has good capacity for development of trade relations with Oman.
The official noted that Omani traders are very much intersted in making investments in Sistan and Baluchestan mines.
Sistan and Balouchestan traders should focus on transit of goods to Oman in order to get a share in this country`s market. Zarrabi said.
He noted that Sistan and Baluchestan has two important ports and can play a key role in export of goods to Oman.
