Japan`s JCCME Signed MoU with Energy Ministry

The Energy Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding with Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME) on transferring know-how to improve electricity and water infrastructure.
The MoU. signed in Japan last week. calls for enhancing the skills of Iranian energy experts via training courses in Iran as well as organizing regular visits to Japanese factories and plants. Sattar Mahmoudi. deputy energy minister was quoted as saying by ISNA.
A delegation from the Energy Ministry. headed by Mahmoudi. visited Japan last week and met Tadahiko Ito. Japan`s minister of environment and Ihara Takumi vice-minister of economy. trade and industry.
According to Mahmoudi. the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest. including water. wastewater. electricity and environment. 
Using Japan`s credit line to rehabilitate Shahid Rajaei and Shahid Mofateh power plants were also discussed. Mahmoudi said.
The Iranian delegation also toured Kazunogawa Pumped Storage Plant west of Tokyo as well as electricity substations.
