South Pars Gas Production Reaches Over 146bn cm

A POGC official said 146.74 billion cubic meters of gas were recovered from South Pars joint field in the previous Iranian calendar year (ended March 20).
Abdolrahman Salehi. responsible for planning export of liquids and condensate at Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC). said the Iranian complex made about 125 billion cubic meters of sweet gas which were supplied to consumers.
He added that over 28 billion cubic meters of soar gas were also deployed to domestic refineries through the fifth national pipelines.
“POGC produced 1.4 million tons of butane 899 thousand tons of which were exported while the rest was delivered to Jam Petrochemical Complex.” noted the official.
Salehi maintained that propane production at South Pars had stood at 1.642 million tons out of which 1.618 million tons had been deployed to international markets.
Gas condensate output level reached 203.21 barrels at POGC. underlined the official saying “over 154 million barrels of the product were exported while the rest was used domestically.”
Last year. South Pars refineries produced 521.753 tons of graded sulfur of which 520.888 thousands were exported.
Implementation of new South Pars phases will further increase output levels and products of refineries. directly and indirectly. will supply raw materials to various industries like petrochemical. refinery. plastic and chemical ones.
