Iran`s Renewable Projects Scales Up

`A number of international investors are seeking to invest in Iran`s Renewable energies market`. said Iranian Energy Minister. Hamid Chitchian on Friday.
 He made the remarks on the sidelines of the ground-breaking  ceremony for a 30-megawatt solar plant in the city of Jajarm. North Khorasan Province. `Energy Today` reported.
 The minister told that Jajarm solar plant is a big jump in country`s renewable industry. pointing to projects in the cities of Arak. Isfahan and Hamedan. with a total output capacity of 10 MW.
 The project is part of efforts to raise the low share of renewable sources in Iran`s power industry that is highly dependent on fossil fuels.
 Referring to the construction of Jajarm`s 30-MW solar plant with cooperation of Iran. Switzerland. Spain and France. Chitchian said: `North Khorasan will be the Hub of Iran`s clean energy production`.
