Pointing to Iran`s good opportunity for utilization of renewable energies. the member of Parliament`s Mining and Industries Commission added that based on 6th plan. we are obliged to produce 5000 megawatt electricity from wind and solar energies annually. so we could not only transfer this technology to other provinces. but export to neighboring countries.
International investors are increasingly looking at Iran as a strong market for renewable power projects.
The project is part of efforts to raise the low share of renewable sources in Iran`s power industry that mostly uses fossil fuels to generate electricity.
Energy officials say the country’s total installed capacity of renewable energy production will reach 1.000 MW by the end of the current fiscal year in March 2018.
