FM: Visits by IAEA Experts No Pretext to Find Out Iran`s Secrets

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif upon arrival in Sochi Airport on Wednesday said that according to the JCPOA. any visit by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) cannot be a pretext to get acquainted with Iran`s secrets.
Zarif arrived in Sochi on coastal rim of Black Sea to hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. and other Russian officials in one-day visit.
Concerning the issue of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the recent policies of the US government. it is necessary to be coordinated with Russia. he told reporters.
The two countries have supported each other in international organizations and on multilateral relations. he added.
Concerning visit of Iran`s military centers by the IAEA. Zarif said that frameworks of additional protocols and JCPOA is clear and it is for the venues that has possibilities for nuclear activities and as the IAEA has declared several times. Iran has acted correctly in this concern.
Zarif underlined that according to clause 75 of appendix one of JCPOA. no visit by the agency can be pretext to get acquainted with secrets of the country.
Concerning the aim of his visit to Sochi. Zarif said the two countries are facing common challenges. which the most important one is regional issue.
Iran and Russia could help Syrians and defeat terrorists and situation is improved now by good cooperation of Iran and Russia and even the two sides could prevent a lot of tensions and conflicts in the area.
Zarif concluded that one of the issues which need permanent coordination with Russia is the regional issues and Syria. saying. `In this trip the two sides concentrate on this issue as well as some other bilateral and multilateral issues.`
