New Gas Main to Europe may be Built in Russia

Alexey Miller. chairman of Russian Gasprom. does not exclude construction of a new gasmain – Northern stream-3 in case of demand by Europe. reports Vedomosti. `Of course. it depends on demand of our Russian gas.` he said answering the questions of journalists about possible project Northern stream-3. He said Russia is ready to satisfy the growing demand for gas. `We can deliver as much gas as needed to our consumers abroad.` he said. In 2017 Gasprom shipped 194.4 bn cu m of gas to Europe (including Turkey). The import is expected to grow up in 2018. Now Gasprom is performing the project Northern stream-2. The gasmain is planned to be commissioned in 2019. it will be the second branch of the Northern stream.
