US Asked OPEC to Raise Oil Output Due to High Gasoline Prices

The U.S. request was discussed at the meeting of the relevant ministers of Saudi Arabia. the United Arab Emirates. Kuwait and Oman in Kuwait this Saturday. After the meeting. the ministers in the joint communique announced the need to support investment in the extractive industry amid the growing demand for oil. In April. the U.S. President Donald Trump formally appealed to OPEC. On his Twitter account he accused the cartel of artificially increased oil prices. Later he announced the U.S. withdraw from a nuclear deal with Iran. and threatened to renew sanctions against one of the world’s largest oil exporters.
