Russia to Increase Its Natural Gas Price for Armenia

Russia has decided to increase the price for the natural gas exported to Armenia later this year. when the current contract term will expire. Hraparak reports.   

The media source says referring to an unknown Russian expert that Russia. in order to prevent perception of this step as unfriendly. will increase the price also for Belarus. but later will down the price.

That unknown expert has allegedly said that the natural gas price for Armenia will not be downed. since. as Hraparak says. the new Armenian authorities don’t enjoy confidence in them.  

That unknown person has also allegedly urged Armenia not to follow Georgia’s example. 

He she is even quoted by the newspaper as saying that the West has not provided special grants to Georgia. and unlike Armenia’s $7 billion. Georgia’s foreign debt amounts to $14 billion now. 

“Georgia today is left without Abkhazia and Ossetia. and the real leader of this country is the holder of 6% of Gazprom’s shares.“ the newspaper quotes its anonymous source.
