Iran. Iraq Sign Scientific Agreement

Iran`s Minister of Science. Research and Technology Mansour Gholami and his Iraqi counterpart Qusai al-Soheil signed a cooperation agreement here on Saturday.

As per the agreement. the Iranian and Iraqi sides are obliged to finalize a roadmap for mutual scientific cooperation within the next five years.

The Iranian and Iraqi ministers also reviewed the ways for reinforcement of scientific cooperation between the two countries.

Providing facilities to exchange professors and students. establishing the branches of the Al-Zahra and Amir Kabir Universities in Iraq. setting up the Persian Language and Literature Departments and boosting ties between the Science and Technology Parks in the two countries were among other topics discussed by the two sides.
