Iran and Russia Plan to Enhance Economic Bonds in a Month

Iran and Russia expect 5 economic events to take place in Tehran by March 20. to improve their bilateral ties. said Iranian Ambassador in Moscow Mehdi Sanayee. 
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak will pay a visit to Tehran to discuss some issues with his Iranian counterpart Bijan Namdar Zanganeh.
According to the Iranian ambassador. within the next few days. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin will also visit Tehran. leading a delegation. to meet the Iranian Vice President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari and Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan to discuss future technology and defense ties with them.
 Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov is the other high ranking official who will make a trip to the Iranian capital in late February to investigate avenues of development of mutual economic and commerce bonds as well as improvement of Iran’s cooperation with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). 
The Eurasian Economic Union`s Minister of Trade Veronika Nikishina is also scheduled to travel to Tehran by March 20.
As reported. due to an agreement previously made between Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and utilizing 1 billion dollar of finance provided by Russia. Iran will start construction of 4 thermal power plants in the southern city of Bandar Abbas in late February.
 From February 20 to 22. Iran-Russia trade conference will be held in Tehran’s Milad Tower. where hundreds of representatives from Iranian and Russian private sectors will confer on common trade and economic issues.
