Iran. Ukraine Sign MoU on Cooperation

Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati and Ukraine Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Ihor Nasalyk signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation at the end of the sixth joint economic commission meeting.
Iran’s Ambassador to Ukraine Mohammad Beheshti Monfared was present in the ceremony as well.
The document included bilateral cooperation development in the fields of agriculture. investment. finance. trade. chamber of commerce. industry. mine and steel production. machinery. geology. banking. oil. gas. petrochemical. transport. tourism. health. sport. communication and engineering consultant services.
Hojjati said there are plenty of opportunities for cooperation in the field of agriculture. which are beneficial for both nations.
Nasalyk underlined that the meeting will have bright outlook for bilateral ties.
Economic activists and businessmen of Iran and Ukraine held a joint meeting in Kiev. capital of Ukraine On Thursday.
Hojjati as well as Iran and Ukraine ambassadors were attending the meeting as well.
During the four-day visit to Ukraine. Hojjati and his accompanying 40-member delegation are to visit different plants. institutes and farms of the country. The visit has started since Wednesday (March 8).
Meeting with first deputy prime minister. minister of economic development. minister of energy and coal industry. minister of agriculture and food materials and some other Ukrainian officials are in the schedule of Hojjati’s agenda.
Ukraine located in Eastern Europe and is neighboring Russia. Belarus. Poland. Slovakia. Hungary. Romania and Moldova. With its 46.5 million population.
