Danish Segment of Nord Stream 2 Construction can be Completed in April

Laying of the pipeline segment of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in Danish territorial waters is planned to be completed in April 2021, department head of Gazprom Anton Demchenko said at a teleconference with investors on Tuesday.
“Construction of the gas pipeline in Danish waters continues. This is the main segment not completed yet. The probable deadline for completion of this segment building is April 2021,” Demchenko said.
Gazprom is set to complete the project, the spokesperson said. “We are set to complete gas pipeline construction and commission it in time,” he added.
The Nord Stream 2 project contemplates the construction of two pipeline strings with a total capacity of 55 bln cubic meters per year from the coast of Russia through the Baltic Sea to Germany. To date, 93% of Nord Stream 2 has been finished.
