Iran, Armenia Stress on Cooperation, Sharing Experiences in Fighting Coronavirus

The President of Iran and the Prime Minister of Armenia described the relations between the two countries friendly and developing and stressed the need for officials to work together in the Joint Commission on Cooperation to develop bilateral, regional and international relations between Tehran and Yerevan.
In a telephone conversation on Tuesday evening, Dr. Hassan Rouhani and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the spread of coronavirus in many countries and the problems it has made for governments and nations, and emphasized on the need to develop regional and international cooperation and sharing experiences between the two countries in the fight against coronavirus.
The two sides said that Iran and Armenia, as two neighbouring countries, should care about each other more and help each other in these difficult circumstances.
They also stressed that the efforts of the two countries’ officials regarding borders is very important in order to gradually report the volume of trade relations and exchange of goods to normal conditions by carefully observing health protocols.
Referring to Iran’s success in supplying and manufacturing health products and disinfectants, ventilators, CT scans and masks, Dr. Rouhani said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to meet the needs of other countries, including Armenia, as much as possible”.
Nikol Pashinyan also congratulated the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan to the government and people of Iran, and praised the success of our country in combatting coronavirus and its positive effects.
