“The leakage of nuclear intelligence is a violation of JCPOA. The IAEA is not authorized to provide the US with that information.” Nozar Shafiei also said in a Friday talk with ICANA. referring to the agreement by its official title. the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

“The information that has been confided to the agency during its inspection of Iran’s nuclear sites must remain classified and any leak to outsiders. the US in particular. would be considered a breach of the commitments of P5+1 and IAEA.” he said.
P5+1 stands for a group of six powers. namely the United States. Britain. France. Russia and China plus Germany. that negotiated the nuclear agreement with Iran.
It has been in force since over a year ago to ease sanctions against Tehran in return for time-bound constraints on its nuclear work.

The IAEA is now tasked with monitoring and verifying Tehran’s commitments. Its reports so far have confirmed Iran’s full compliance with the action plan.
