Iran’s Ambassador to Spain Mohammad-Hassan Fadaeifard said here that Madrid is among the biggest trade partners for Tehran.
Confidence and mutual respect are two important characteristics of Tehran-Madrid ties dating back to four centuries ago. Fadaeifard said on Monday in an interview with the Spanish newspaper. El Mundo Financiero.
About Iran’s economic plans. the diplomat said that Tehran follows its economic policies in line with the Economy of Resistance as well as constructive interactions with foreigners.
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has emphasized repeatedly on effective implementation of the Economy of Resistance policy.
In recent years. the ambassador stressed. Iran’s dependence on the oil income has reduced and the inflation rate has gone down.
On bilateral cooperation. the official said Tehran and Madrid can develop ties in the areas of oil. gas. petrochemicals. mine. renewable energy. tourism. fisheries and agriculture.
On Iran’s role in the region. Fadaeifard said that the country plays a constructive and positive regional role dealing with the neighbors within the framework of the regional policies.
