A partnership including Finland’s Fortum has taken 1GW as the biggest winner in a landmark wind power tender held by Russia. with Italy’s Enel also successful with 291MW.
The 50 50 investment fund partnership between Fortum and Rusnano. a Russian state-owned development company. took the biggest share of the 1.9GW on offer from Moscow.
The projects will be commissioned in the 2018-22 timeframe with prices corresponding to about €115-135 MWh ($129-151 MWh). said Fortum.
