Turkey. Held under the theme “Bridges to Our Energy Future.“ Congress (WPC)`>.WPC attracted the participation of thousands of delegates. including many ministers and a large number of CEOs of major oil and gas companies from all over the world. “The 22nd Congress (WPC)`>.WPC conference and exhibition was an excellent opportunity for Qatar Petroleum to showcase its globally recognised achievements in the oil and gas industry.“ said Saad Sherida Al Kaabi. President an CEO of QP. “It comes at a very important time in our growth highlighted by a number of announcements that would enhance Qatar’s leading position as the world’s largest LNG producer and exporter. particularly plans to raise Qatar’s LNG production from 77 million to 100 million tonnes per year.“ he added. The Congress (WPC)`>.WPC is organised every three years by the World Petroleum Council. and the 23rd Congress (WPC)`>.WPC is scheduled to be held in Houston. Texas. in 2020. Doha hosted the 20th edition of the event in December 2011.
