Russia Offers Turkey Memorandum on TurkStream Onshore Construction

Russia proposed signing a memorandum on the onshore construction of the TurkStream natural gas pipeline project between its state-owned natural gas giant Gazprom and Turkey. according to Russian news agency Sputnik.
The news agency said the memorandum is expected to be signed in November. According to the draft. Turkey is expected to soon provide Russia with the necessary permits for the construction.
The TurkStream is a transit-free export gas pipeline. which will not only stretch across the Black Sea from Russia to Turkey but will further extend to Turkey`s border with neighboring countries.
It will send Russian gas to Turkey with the first of its two lines. while the second line of the project will carry Russian gas to southern and southeastern Europe.
