Engie to supply Egypt with three LNG cargoes

Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) has ordered three LNG cargoes from France`s Engie in Q2 of 2018.

Trade sources have reported that Egypt has been looking to import five cargoes of LNG at competitive pricing. and that this most recent purchase was arranged through bilateral deals and not via a standard tender process.

Regarding future LNG imports. according to the Egyptian petroleum minister. Egypt plans to stop importing LNG by the end of the 2017 18 fiscal year as production at recently discovered gas fields speeds up.
