The second international congress and exhibition of exploration &amp. production and the fifth International congress of Iran`s Drilling Industry. kicked off today in IRIB International Conference Center with the presence of Gholamreza Manouchehri. Ali Kardor. Amir Hossein Zamani Nia. Roknoddin Javadi and Habibollah Bitaraf.

According to `Energy Today`. deputy for development and engineering at National Iranian Oil company (NIOC). and the head of the second international exploration congress said: `we review and design the strategies towards development and prepare ourselves for extended operations`.

Gholamreza Manouchehri added that IPC is one of the essential ways to go forward. but is not the only solution and there is a must to have dynamic steps for fundamental upheaval.

Referring to the upstream capacity building by oil ministry. the official further noted that any investments would be favored by oil ministry and in the absence of foreign investment. internal sector has priority.
