NOC Considers Energy Cooperation with Saudis

The National Oil Cooperation head Mustafa Sanalla reviewed with the Saudi Minister of Energy. Industry and Mineral Resources. Khalid Al-Falih. means of cooperation between the two countries in these sectors and to promote its stability.

Sanalla emphasized during the meeting that took place on Thursday in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia. the need for cooperation between oil producing countries from OPEC and outside. to ensure stability of world oil markets.

For his part. the Saudi minister praised the improvement of Libya`s oil production and the stability in oil operations. despite what he described the challenges in Libya. pointing to the NOC`s role in this regard.

`Libya hopes to obtain an exemption from possible reductions in oil production that the organization may soon approve.` Sanalla explained in a press statement on the sidelines of OPEC`s meetings. adding that such a decision will boost the productive capacity to two million barrels per day.
