45 million tons of petrochemicals and industrial substances, worth $18 billion, were exported in the first 7 months of the current year which started on March 20, said Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade for Planning Hossein Aboui Mehrizi.
He said in the first seven months (March 20-November 20) of the current Iranian year of 1395 (started on March 20), 28.4 million tons of petrochemical products were produced, showing one percent increase compared to that in the same period the previous year.
He noted that in the first seven months of this year, 45 million tons, worth $18 billion, industrial and petrochemical substances were exported, showing increases of 7.3 percent and 37.3 percent in terms of value and weight respectively compared to those in the same period the previous year.
