Iran. Russia Form Joint Parliamentary Group on Energy

Iran and Russia agreed on Monday to establish a parliamentary working group on energy in a meeting by a visiting parliamentary delegation from Iran with their Russian counterparts.
The Iranian delegation was headed by Fereydoun Hassanvand from Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) Energy Committee who discussed issues of mutual interest with Head of Russian Duma Energy Committee Pavel Zavalny.
According to the report of Iran`s embassy in Russia. the two sides underlined expansion of bilateral ties. especially in the field of energy.
The Iranian parliamentary delegation is in Moscow along with a delegation from Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) headed by Deputy Head of AEOI for International. Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Behrouz Kamalvandi to attend a conference on 25 years of cooperation between Iran and Russia in the field of using peaceful nuclear energy.
