Iran Doubles Non-Oil Trade with Indonesia

Iran traded 617.979 tons of non-oil commodities worth $276.19 million with Indonesia during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21). registering a 72.98% and 103.1% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period.

Iran exported 582.281 tons of commodities worth $240.62 million to the Southeast Asian country to register an increase of 83.44% and 149.04% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.

Indonesia was Iran’s 10th biggest export destination during the period. Iran mainly exported liquefied propane. liquefied butane. non-alloy metal and steel ingot to Indonesia. Iran imported 35.698 tons of non-oil Indonesian goods worth $35.57 million. down 10.38% and 9.65% in tonnage and value respectively YOY.

Indonesia was the 30th major exporter of goods to Iran during the three months. Imports mainly included paperboard. medium-density fiber and industrial alcohols.
