Head of Majlis (Iranian Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Heshmatollah Falahat-Pisheh said on Sunday that after talks with Russian ambassador to Tehran the problem of the Russian oil company Gazprom in Iran resolved.
Representatives from Majlis. petroleum ministry and Social Security organization were present in the meeting with Russian ambassador to Tehran. he said.
In the meeting. it was agreed that judicial proceedings on Gazprom Company to be seized and both sides find new avenues to resolve their differences. Falahat-Pisheh said.
Gazprom has invested tens of million dollars at sensitive oil and gas fields and in the absence of a genuine accord between the two sides. the company`s office in Tehran might be shut down. he said.
Gazprom is to increase investment in Tehran. Falahat-Pisheh added.
