Iran’s clean energy production to amount to 1GW by yearend

Iran is producing some 654MW of electricity out of clean energy which is projected to rise to 1GW by the yearend. according to deputy energy minister for electricity and energy affairs.

 

Homayoon Haeri made the remarks speaking on the sidelines of a visit to Qeshm 500MW combined-cycle power plant.

 

A 10MW solar power plant was constructed and launched just in 139 days in 2017 and another solar power plant capable of producing 50MW electricity is under construction. Hareri said.

 

He said that the construction of Qeshm 500MW combined-cycle power plant has made 40 percent progress.
