Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani warned the European Union that the country would reconsider its cooperation with the IAEA if the bloc takes unjust measures regarding the trigger mechanism.

In a statement released on Sunday. Iranian lawmakers announced that the Iranian Parliament will decide on the continuation of cooperation with the IAEA.

Raising the issue of renegotiating the 2015 nuclear deal. known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). is aimed at covering up the European Union’s failure to meet its obligations under the accord.

Russian Acting Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov named the E3’s plans to trigger the trigger mechanism on the JCPOA as a dangerous turn.

An Iranian lawmaker said that European signatories to the JCPOA are following the US and cannot be independent and accordingly. their statement is not valid.

A new decision by France. Britain and Germany to trigger the dispute mechanism in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is nothing new as Iran employed the process more than a year ago.
