Iran Ready to Build Hydroelectric Power Plants in Kyrgyzstan

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif announced his country`s preparedness to help Kyrgyzstan construct small and giant hydroelectric power plants.
The Islamic Republic enjoys much experience in building dams and power plants and can help the government in Bishkek in this field a lot. Zarif said at a joint press conference with his Kyrgyz counterpart Erlan Abdyldaev in Bishkek on Wednesday.
In addition to building small and big hydroelectric power plants. Tehran is ready to produce medicine and transfer new technologies to Kyrgyzstan. he added.
Zarif underlined that there are no restrictions for cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
In relevant remarks earlier today. the Iranian top diplomat voiced Tehran`s readiness to develop trade and economic relations with the Kyrgyzstan.
Iran considers no limit for development of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. specially in the trade and economic fields. Zarif said on Wednesday. addressing a Trade and Economic Conference in Kyrgyzstan`s capital.
The Iranian foreign minister said that Iran was one of the first countries that recognized Kyrgyzstan independence. adding . “We will not forget the friends who were helpful in hard times.
Zarif also pointed to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani`s visit to Bishkek in December 2016. and said. “Ground is ready for development of cooperation between the two states.
The Iranian foreign minister called for execution of previous agreements inked between Iran and Kyrgyzstan. and said. The two countries have good potential for cooperation in the fields of science. technology. energy. construction. agriculture. husbandry. industry and mining.
Zarif underlined that Iran attaches importance to progress. development. security and stability of Kyrgyzstan.
“We need to make a serious effort to facilitate entrepreneurs’ relations in all fields in particular in financial and banking sectors. the Iranian foreign minister added.
