Executive Director of German Deutscher Werkbund (German Association of Craftsmen DWB) Wilfried Schafer said on Tuesday that export of German Machinery to Iran rose by 64 percent in value to 33 million euros.
Schafer told IRNA on the sidelines of the AMB Iran 2017 expo on Tuesday that export of German machinery to Iran fell drastically in 2015 but with increase in demand and cooperation between Iranian and German companies it rose by 64 percent in 2016 to 33 million euros.
He said Iranian companies’ orders to European partners rose by 200 percent and it had more than 400 percent growth just in the first four months of 2017.
Schaefer added that his company welcomes expansion of trade ties with Iranian companies.
