Tehran Calls on Turkish Private Sector for Cooperation in Energy Projects

Iranian oil ministry invited Turkish private sector to participate in the country’s energy projects with an estimated investment of $100 billion. Daily Sabah reported on Sunday quoting an Iranian oil official.
Speaking at an international conference on Iranian energy in Istanbul. Amir Talebian. the adviser to Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh. invited the Turkish private sector to participate in the country’s six important projects.
`We have devised six priority projects in oil and natural gas. which requires a $100-billion investment.“ he said.
The international conference on Iran energy was held by Bogaziçi University Energy Policies Research Center in collaboration with Tehran University Energy Management and Planning Research Institute and Iran Chamber of Commerce. Industries. Mines and Agriculture.The experts attending the conference highlighted that Turkey and Iran are about to start significant energy cooperation.
We believe that partnering with Turkey in these projects will yield a regional and global impact.` Talebian said in his speech at the conference.
