Donald Trump. U.S president. is opening a Pandora’s Box as he recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and paving the way for instructing the State Department to begin the years-long process of moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to the Holy City. Jerusalem. since of the eighth decade of twenty century Israel could nothing to do for persuading other countries to relocate their embassies to the mentioned city. The result of this decision would be nothing unless a new wave of severely detrimental politics in the Middle East. pouring oil on the fire of the mentioned region. The naked nature of U.S options in this complicated part of the world is there are serious limitations for that country in terms of what can do and what can not to do. Let’s firstly pose the consequences of this challenging decision. then an argument about what Iran as a regional player should do?
The above figure is a list of the terrible out coming of Trump decision. this decision will be a catalyzer for spread of more Anti-Americanism sentiments in this volatile region and more challenges in this quagmire of crises. What should Iran do for management and dealing with this sever-coming situation? Is it a threat for Iran or an opportunity for exploitation?
It seems. in parallel with European countries standpoints toward JCPOA versus Trump viewpoint and EU viewpoint toward the current U.S president decision – Iran can make a new diplomatic front for maximizing its own national interest. this would lead to a beginning point for pursuing a more stable Middle East and a political capital for Iran. this political capital can be the best card for guarantying of Palestinian rights by Iran and a potential card for Iran future diplomacy in the regional and global scale.
In this board of policy. Iran can logically play with what just wined as a card Vis a Vis ISIS in Syria and Iraq and what was discussed above. In harness with what Islamic countries will play versus Trump decision -Iran can play on the chessboard of moderation and planning for wining political capitals in the world and world of Islam.
