The Austria oil and gas company ‘OMV’ will continue its cooperation with Iran. Reuters reported.

OMV was monitoring political developments in the US and the European Union very closely. Reuters quoted OMV’s upstream chief Johann Pleininger as saying to its annual shareholder meeting in Vienna.
“The project has not come to a standstill. it is continuing.“ Pleininger said.
“No investments have been made yet.“ he added.
US President Donald Trump on May 8 announced that Washington would pull out of Iran nuclear deal and reinstate nuclear sanctions on Iran.
This is while most world powers including Russia. China. and European Union have repeatedly stressed that keeping the deal is in the interest of world peace and security.
