€23 Million investment in Mazandaran power plant

Investment Assistant Directorate General for Economic Affairs and Finance of Mazandaran said a 23-million-euro investment by China and Germany for construction of a power plant in the province has become operational.

 

Parviz Khaleqi added on Monday that €17 million of the investment came from the Chinese company. which has now entered the executive phase after passing license problems.

 

He said the investment is in the construction of a CHP power plant with a production capacity of 25 MW in Babolsar. The CPH-based power plant is a power plant that simultaneously generates 2 types of thermal energy and electricity.

 

Khalqi added. `The Chinese are currently building a power plant. and so far the administrative part of the power plant has been built.`

 

The official said all equipment related to the power plant has been supplied to the province so far and there is no concern about sanctions to supply the equipment.
