IRGC Seizes Foreign Vessel Smuggling Fuel from Iran

According to an IRGC public relations office announcement. following consultations with the legal and judicial officials. the force seized the vessel in a surprise attack near the Farsi Island.

The tanker was taken to Bushehr Port and its cargo was turned in to the National Oil Distribution Company (NODC) of Bushehr province.

The statement stressed that the IRGCN is always ready and will spare no efforts to defend the national interest of Iran.

Early in last month. the IRGCN seized a foreign ship smuggling fuel in the Persian Gulf. according to a statement by the public relations office of the IRGC Navy`s first zone. The foreign vessel was smuggling a million liters of fuel from Iran and was seized in Iranian waters South of Lark island.
