Some megaprojects in the South Pars Gas Field were officially inaugurated by President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday in south of Iran.
President Rouhani inaugurated the phases 17. 18. 19. 20 and 21 of the South Pars Gas Field and the development project of the Field’s oil layer in the Persian Gulf region this morning.
To open the mentioned phases and projects. 20-billion-dollar investment has been made.
Iran’s gas recovery in the world’s largest gas field of South Pars in the Persian Gulf has become equal to Qatar’s for the first time since 1991.
It is estimated that the complete development of the South Pars phases will guarantee Iran’s energy supply. then the country will annually earn 100 billion dollars from it.
