Gas recovery from phases 6 to 8 of the supergiant South Pars Gas Field has reached 83 million cubic meters per day. said operator of the 4th refinery of South Pars Gas Complex Behzad Salari.
He said the refinery processes 53 mcm/d natural gas and injects it to the national gas trunkline.
He further said nearly 30mcm/d of the gas from the phases is transferred to other refineries of the complex for processing.
The fourth refinery is a supplier of high-quality propane and butane.
It can produce 1.000 tons of propane and over 700 tons of butane per day.
