Iran Increase Non-Oil Exports from Khuzestan by 30 Percent

Non-oil exports from Iran`s Khuzestan province have increased by 30 percent in value over the past seven months to October 22. compared to the figure for the similar period last year.
Head of Khuzestan Industry. Mine and Trade Organization Norollah Hassanzadeh told the fifth meeting of provincial working group for development of non-oil exports on Monday that non-oil exports from the province during the period amounted to $3.6 billion.
This volume of exports registered growth by 19 percent in weight and 30 percent in value. he said.
Shalamcheh Border Terminal will be open during days during Arbaeen and exports will continue on the same course.
Putting the export of flour at 13.000 tons in the first half of the current Iranian year which started March 21. he hoped the figure would reach 50.000 tons by the end of the year.
The value of Khuzestan province non-oil exports stood at 6 billion dollars in the past Iranian year which ended on March 20.
