Gas Export to Iran has resumed

Iran’s natural gas export to Iraq from Iran’s Naftshahr border has resumed.

 

According to the report of the public relations of the National Iranian gas Company (NIGC). exports from Iran’s Naftshahr to Iraq’s Baghdad was halted by damage to IGAT-6 Pipeline. has resumed on Tuesday. December 4.

The pipeline was damaged by landslide and flood in the region.

According to the report. NIGC staff immediately fixed the pipeline and brought it back to order on Wednesday. December 4.

The report also added that gas export to Iraq from Shalamcheh-Basra border has its own routine and it takes place from both ways. Naftshahr- Baghdad and Shalamcheh-Basra.
