An Iranian deputy minister of energy said the country has achieved self-sufficiency in the construction of solar power plants.

India has installed 31 gigawatts (GW) of solar capacity.

The facility will begin commercial operations next year.

The Núñez de Balboa plant in Spain consists of 1.4m solar panels. with a total capacity of 500MW.

This plant is the first of its kind in the state of Qatar with a total capacity of 800 MW which equals about 10% of Qatar'.s current peak electricity demand.
