Iranian President Hassan Rouhani penned a letter to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution for withdrawing $1 billion from the National Development Fund of Iran (NDFI) to combat coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
Speaking at today’s Economic Committee session, he said, it is hoped that the Leader will agree with withdrawing the amount from the Fund.
He pointed out that the Armed Forces has prepared 4,000 beds for coronavirus patients that have not so far been used and added, all hospital beds across the country have been prepared to combat coronavirus.
