The Iranian Central Oilfields Company (ICOFC) successfully drilled 27,000 meters last calendar year which ended on March 19.
The company, enjoying 8 drilling rigs, spudded 9 wells during the year and has acquired the savvy to drill ultra-deep and highly deviated wells.
According to ICOFC, Afshar Arefi Sigarudi, head of the company’s drilling department, said his department operated in the field of optimizing drilling operations, by optimizing drill bit selection, mechanical and hydraulic parameters of drilling operations, as well as designing and selecting drilling methods.
It has so far operated in such fields as Dehloran, Saadatabad, Tabnak, Homa and Cheshmeh Khosh fields.
