Algeria awarded only four of 31 oil and gas field blocks on offer to foreign consortiums in 2014

Algeria expects its gas exports to reach 57 billion cubic metres (bcm) this year. up from 54 bcm in 2016.

Algeria has announced plans to increase gas output to 141.3 billion cubic meters (bcm) this year and 143.9 bcm in 2018. from 132.2 bcm in 2016.
