Iran and Qatar have agreed to increase mutual energy cooperation despite a current pandemic that has severely affected economies in the Middle East region.

The firm has activated its ‘pandemic plan’ to help maintain all elementary functions amid the crisis.

The project is expected to help reduce emissions by more than 200,000 tonnes per year, equivalent to annual emissions from 100,000 cars.

The project will start as soon as the country lifts the current lockdown measures.
