A ceremony was held on Monday in Tehran to disclose details about a newly discovered oil reservoir in the southwestern province of Khuzestan in the presence of the Iranian Minister of Petroleum.

The Director General of Pardis Technology Park for Economic Affairs and Planning Office Mohsen Pilannejad said the Park has exported $35 million worth of 40 types of knowledge-based products to 21 countries since March.

Iran says this new unit will be built according to high safety standards.

Exploration started at the site in 2016. with 31 billion barrels previously discovered.

The pipeline. which is a part of South Pars Phases 15 and 16. leaked gas which was controlled immediately by cutting gas feed to the sea pipeline.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said there is a degree of untapped potential in the Economic Cooperation Organization which can help enhance economic integration and cohesion in the region.
