The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) and Iranian Mines &. Mining Industries Development &. Renovation. known as IMIDRO. have signed an agreement for production of sponge and needle coke in Bandar Abbas.

Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said Bandar Abbas and Imam Khomeini refineries were to produce 700.000 tons per year of sponge and needle cokes in Iran.

A contract was signed between Petrochemical Research and Technology Company (PRTC) and Tabriz Petrochemical Company for building Iran’s first heavy polyethylene plant.

Iran could support deeper cuts in crude oil output of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) if a majority of the members agreed with it.

It covers an area of 9.700 square kilometers. of which 3.700 square kilometers belongs to Iran.

Iran’s gas exports to Iraq continued uninterrupted.

Iran has the capacity to produce 3.7 million barrels per day of crude oil.

NISOC has successfully manufactured over 1.000 items used in the petroleum industry over the course of the past year.

The localization and optimal use of demulsifiers by the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) have resulted in cost savings of the company by over Rl. 270 billion.

Touraj Dehqani. CEO of Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC). has said the company plans to increase production from the Yadavaran oil field.
