Iran’s natural gas export to Iraq from Iran’s Naftshahr border has resumed.

Iran began gas exports to Baghdad in June 2017.

Iran has for long been discussing with Oman to produce LNG in its Qalhat liquefaction plant.

Iran has imported natural gas from Turkmenistan since 1997 for distribution in the north of the country.

The mini plant will have a production capacity of 30 tons of LNG per day.

Iran’s gas reserves account for 18 percent of world’s total.

The July program takes Iran exports so far this year to 3.71 million mt. according to shipping fixtures.

Iran receives Turkmen gas through several pipeline branches and the main one is the Korpeje-Kurt-Kui gas pipeline.

During the two-year time that the proceeding is going on. no gas will be exported to Iran from Turkmenistan.
