An Iranian deputy foreign minister said the country’s fifth and final step to reduce its commitments to the 2015 nuclear deal has helped to restore the balance in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The UN atomic watchdog acknowledged Iran’s latest announcement on walking away. though reversibly. from its nuclear containment deal.

We are firmly calling on all the partners to stay within the JCPOA course and create conditions for resuming its stable implementation. the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Since Europeans have not taken any specific measure to fulfill their obligations to Iran nuclear deal. Iran will take its fifth step in scaling down its commitments to the deal.

Iran and the remaining parties launched talks to save the JCPOA after the US withdrawal.

Russia'.s Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said it should be admitted that everything the Iranians have done so far (to scale down their commitments to JCPOA) is reversible.

Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi and French Ambassador to Tehran Philippe Thiebaud exchanged views about a host of issues. including the 2015 nuclear deal. known as the JCPOA.

The new head of the UN nuclear watchdog said he is expected to hold talks with Iranian officials who will be in Vienna later this week for a meeting of the remaining JCPOA parties.

Iran has sent a written objection to the IAEA in that regard and announced the country will follow up on the issue.

Spokesman for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hossein Naqavi Hosseini said the European parties to the 2015 nuclear deal have taken no practical measure to fulfill their commitments under the accord.
