Work on Joint Oil. Gas Fields. Iran’s Top Priority

Development of the oil and gas fields that Iran shares with the neighbors is a top priority in the Resistance Economy era. said Iran’s First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri.
He said when it comes to the energy industry in the context of Resistance Economy. the Iranian administration focuses on joint oil and gas resources.
The Oil Ministry is seriously pursuing projects to extract more oil and gas from the joint fields to serve the interests of the nation. the vice president added.
He also unveiled plans for setting up and completing petrochemical projects in the energy-rich province of Ilam.
Iran shares a number of oil and gas fields with its Arab neighbors in west and southwest.
In April 2016. Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said one of his ministry’s top priorities is to develop the oilfields that Iran shares with the neighbors.
According to the minister. a long-term plan has been formulated to increase the production of crude from the joint oilfields by one million barrels per day.
