Tehran is hosting the 10th International Exhibition of Renewable Energy and Energy Saving on February 21-24.

As the country’s most important event in this area. the exhibition is going to host numerous exhibitors from 37 foreign companies including South Korea. Austria. Turkey. Switzerland. Germany. Norway. China. Greece. Taiwan. Italy. UAE. Canada and more than 200 domestic companies at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.

According to Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian. the country plans to generate 7 gigawatts (GW) of electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
